You won’t find Arbeit und Leben in Hamburg only. Nearly every region has its own regional organisation. All regional organisations are represented by the federal working committee Bundesarbeitskreis (BAK) seated in Wuppertal.

BAK represents the interests of its members on a federal level and takes an active part in the politics of support and sponsoring. It is initiating projects on a federal level and providing input for regional work. Points of focus are e.g. gender mainstreaming, quality development, international meetings or programmes for educationally disadvantaged young people and adults.
