The European Social Fund (ESF) is supporting education programmes and urban district development in socially disadvantaged areas. The objective is to enhance participants’ perspectives and to qualify especially disadvantaged groups on a long-term basis. To that end, the ESF is allocating funds to non-governmental organisations, welfare associations, public administrations and social partners for appropriate projects.
Arbeit und Leben’s Neighbourhood work has been realising ESF projects successfully for many years. At the moment, it’s the Regional education agency.
