The Information Centre Migration is advising young migrants on any questions about school, vocational training and career. In co-operation with companies, schools, trade unions and educational institutions, we are promoting vocational training and qualification and reinforcing social integration.
Our programmes are aiming at the enhancement of migrants’ professional perspectives as well as increasing companies’ awareness. Besides advising on opportunities of education and qualification, we are offering information on labour and residence law.
Recognising and reinforcing inter-cultural competences
People with migration backgrounds are contributing language skills, international contacts and inter-cultural competences. To encourage companies to recognise and acknowledge this potential, the Information Centre Migration is providing various seminars and qualification programmes, including:
- breaking down prejudices in hiring procedures
- inter-cultural diversity
- diversity management
- qualification
